About Us

Kentlyn Studio is a large decorative, folk art and ceramic studio situated on a secluded 5 acre property in Kentlyn, near Campbelltown in Sydney's west.

It is owned by Kerri who has been drawing and painting all her life and has been teaching Folk Art & Ceramics as well as running a craft business for over 18 years.

Kerri's experience over the years with decorative and Folk Art has seen her attend many classes & workshops with some of Australia's best teachers such as Lyn Foster, Chris Cort, Suzie Smith, Janice McCurrie, Cay Rieck, Christine Whipper, Kai Rahnel, Ros Singleton,  Carol Swan, Donna Gilbertson, Chris Roy and June Varey.

Kerri has also attended workshops in the American Folk Art Conventions each year with some very talented teachers such as Roxanne Pulchalski, Mary Wiseman, Johnnie Liliedahl, Elizabeth Hayes, Phyllis Maurer, Peggy Harris, Sandy Fochler, Karen LuAnne Murphy, Debbie Mitchell and Mary Owens.

Kerri is also a member of the National Society of Decorative Painters Guild, FDA and Friends through Folk Art.

As an accredited ceramic teacher, Kerri can teach many techniques on the huge range of ceramic and bisque ware on offer.

On sale at the studio for the students is a large range of wood pieces, brushes, books, Jo Sonya, David Jansen and Deco Americana paints as well as Duncan & Gare Ceramic paints.

Kentlyn Studio is a large, bright, roomy teaching studio open only during class hours.
