I was inspired and
taught by Mary Owens
when I attended the American Folk Art Convention in Witchita a couple of years
ago.
 Mary Owens is a New Yorker & has
developed a wonderful technique of pen & wash in oils. This gives you a softer more
watercolour look than acrylics.
It is an interesting technique
that you will enjoy and it will inspire you to
rouge all
kinds of projects. Instead of washing with acrylics, we rouge in oils.
This is a
fun & easy method & looks fantastic.
